Start here: what this board is for

Everything that is not visa, housing, or work — transport, waste separation, utility bills, delivery, government offices, and the small things nobody tells you. This board is for the questions that feel too minor to ask anyone. They are not minor. Not knowing how to separate food waste, or which office issues which document, is the kind of thing that quietly makes a place harder to live in. Some things that come up constantly and are worth asking about early: transit cards and transfers, how to read a utility bill, what to do when a delivery needs a Korean phone number, and which errands can be done online at gov.kr versus in person. If you have been here a while: the things that are obvious to you now are exactly the things that were hardest in your first month. Writing one of them down helps more than you would think.
