QuestionKonto eröffnen: Welche Unterlagen habt ihr tatsächlich mitgenommen?

Ich war letzte Woche bei einer Bank und wurde weggeschickt, weil ich «keinen Nachweis über den Zweck des Kontos» hatte. Mit ARC allein ging es nicht. Mich interessiert nicht, was auf der Webseite steht, sondern was ihr wirklich dabeihattet, als es geklappt hat. Und ob es einen Unterschied gemacht hat, in welche Filiale ihr gegangen seid.

    Bei mir hat der Arbeitsvertrag gereicht, zusammen mit dem ARC. Eine Bekannte musste zusätzlich den Mietvertrag zeigen — es scheint wirklich von der Filiale abzuhängen.

    Ask the teller directly which document would satisfy them and come back with exactly that. Going to five banks and hoping doesn't help, because the rule is the same everywhere — it's the paperwork that decides.

    One more thing: a branch near a university or a big workplace deals with foreign customers all day. They tend to know exactly what's needed.
