Start here: what this board is for

Finding somewhere to live is the hardest part of the first month for most people. This board is for that — jeonse and wolse, contracts, deposits, agents, and moving. Useful things to include when you ask: Your budget split between deposit and monthly rent. In Korea those two trade against each other, so a single number does not tell people much. The area, or at least the line and station you need to commute from. Whether you already have an ARC and a Korean bank account. Some contracts and most deposit protections are harder without them. The thing worth being careful about is the deposit. It is usually the largest amount of money you will hand over here, and getting it back depends on paperwork you do at the beginning, not at the end. Before signing, it is normal and expected to ask to see the property register (deungi budeungbon) and to confirm the person signing is the actual owner. Nobody will think you are rude for asking. If something about a contract feels off, ask here before you sign. It is much easier to walk away from a place than to recover a deposit.
