ENEnglishMy year is nearly finished, so while it's fresh:
The visa gives you time, not a plan. The people who got the most out of it decided early what they actually wanted — money, language, or travel — and accepted they couldn't max out all three.
I also underestimated how much admin there is in the first month. Registration, phone, bank, address. None of it is hard, but it eats your first weeks, and doing it in the wrong order costs days.
No regrets. Just wish I'd known the year is shorter than it sounds.
